The Coup
There are also ‘memories’ of the 1977 operation, the Coup, which has brought about success to the people of Seychelles and its country. And also lots of archive documents of the SPUP Party.
This building is an old traditional house dated 100 years ago. It is constructed with local wood such as Bois Roz, Takamaka, Jack Fruit, Kalis Du Pap, almost all woods that can make furniture with.

The SPUP Museum became the country’s latest national monument on June 5th 1987, during the 10th anniversary of the Liberation brought about by the Party. The Museum joins a list of buildings, sculptures, national features, gardens and other places around Seychelles that are now national monuments protected and preserved by law.
